The PowerWheel is a micro hydro generator - an amazing tool for teaching lessons about energy, hydro-power and other renewable sources of energy. Now you can charge cell phones or power laptops all from the power from your faucet. The PowerWheel can be used to enhance lessons for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

The PowerWheel unit connects to a classroom faucet or outside hose for easy use.

The PowerWheel Bundle includes:
1) Fully-assembled PowerWheel
2) LED light strip
3) Bridge rectifier
4) All the wiring to convert the AC output to DC (for powering battery powered devices)
5) User's manual (Manual includes educational mini-lessons and suggestions for use)

Also available:

The PowerWheel Incandescent Light:
Show the difference in efficiency between the included LED lights and this 2-bulb incandescent light. Includes two spare bulbs.

Electronic Tone Alert
This electronic noisemaker will allow you to turn the electrical energy from your Power Wheel into sonic energy instantly!

Peltier Thermoelectric Cooler/Heater
This device converts electrical energy directly into a temperature difference, or vice-versa. When 12 volts are applied to the leads, one side of the unit will become hot, the other cold. A dynamic demonstration of the power being generated by your Power Wheel.
