How do I earn Extra Credit Points?

Every customer is eligible. Simply place an order on-line, pay with a credit card during check-out, and you will automatically earn your Extra Credit Points on qualifying purchases. You must be logged on to your account to redeem Extra Credit Points. Don't have a registered account? Get a free account now by clicking here.

Only on-line purchases made with a credit card (at the time of the order) are eligible for earning Extra Credit Points. Orders on account, Purchase Orders, Gift Certificates and orders with payment sent in separately are specifically exempt from earning Extra Credit Points.

How do I redeem Extra Credit Points?

You must be logged onto your account to redeem Extra Credit Points. When you add eligible products to your cart you will have the choice of paying for them normally, or using points. You will also see your eligible points balance. If you don't see your points balance, make sure your are logged in to your account.

Do my Extra Credit Points expire?

Yes, Extra Credit Points expire one year from the date you earn them.

I placed an order earlier, but didn't have a registered account. Can I still get my Extra Credit Points?

Yes, If you create a registered account now using the same e-mail address as your order, your Extra Credit Points will be recovered. However, no Extra Credit Points will be awarded for orders placed prior to the official launch of the program on October 16th, 2013.

I am submitting a school Purchase Order. Can I earn Extra Credit Points?

Sorry, only orders paid with a credit card during check-out are eligible to earn Extra Credit Points. Purchase Orders are not eligible. Schools can still earn Extra Credit Points by using an organizational credit card when shopping on-line.

Can I combine points and credit card to pay for an order? To pay for a specific item?

You can pay for your order with a combination of Extra Credit Points and a credit card. You can even earn additional points on the part of the purchase you pay with your credit card. However, you must have enough Extra Credit Points to cover an item completely in order to add that item to your shopping cart.

Can I purchase Gift Certificates with my Extra Credit Points?

Sorry, Extra Credit Points cannot be redeemed for the purchase of Gift Certificates. However, when purchasing Gift Certificates on-line with your credit card, you can earn Extra Credit Points on the value of that purchase. What better reason to get a Gift Certificate for that favorite teacher!

Can I earn points when I pay for an order with a Gift Certificate?

No, Extra Credit Points are only earned on the portion of your order paid with a credit card.

Do I earn Extra Credit Points for shipping charges? Can I use Extra Credit Points to pay for shipping?

Sorry, Extra Credit Points are only for merchandise. They are not earned with, nor can they be redeemed for shipping charges.

I know I have Extra Credit Points, but it won't let me select the button next to the 'points price.'

Next to the points price of each item you will see how many available points you have. If you don't have enough to purchase the item, you cannot select the points button. If it says you have none available (Avail: 0) and you believe that you should have available points ensure that you are logged in to your account. Also, check to see if you already have items in your shopping cart that are using up your point balance.

I have items in my shopping cart, how do I pay for them using my Extra Credit Points?

Items must be identified as being purchased with Extra Credit Points AT THE TIME THEY ARE ADDED TO YOUR CART. If they are already in your shopping cart, you will need to remove them, and re-add them to your cart while selecting the selection button next to the 'points price.'

No. Coupons and special offers for spending a particular dollar amount, are based on the merchandise applied to your credit card. Sorry, Extra Credit Points redeemed do not contribute to that total.

Sorry, Extra Credit Points cannot be transferred or combined.

Can I place an order, earn Extra Credit Points then place another order and use the points and get the two orders to ship together?

Unfortunately you cannot. You earn Extra Credit Points once your credit card is charged on the original order. Your credit card is not charged until the package leaves our building, therefore we are unable to combine the two orders.

Educational Innovations, Inc. reserves the right to adjust Extra Credit Points balances due to returns, cancellation, credit card declines, violation of terms, or any other reason that results in a change in the amount of your purchase. The earning and redeeming of Extra Credit Points is subject to verification. Extra Credit Points are available only on retail sales at advertised prices. Wholesale and reseller sales are exempt. We reserve the right to make changes to the terms and conditions of this program at any time without notice, including reduction of expiration period, and termination of the program. Extra Credit Points are not transferable. Extra Credit Points are not redeemable for cash. Void where prohibited or restricted.
