Equilateral prisms are often used for breaking up white light into a spectrum of colors (also see our diffraction gratings on this page), while right angle prisms are generally used for measuring critical angles and observing total internal reflection such as in fiber optics. Made of optical glass or clear colorless acrylic plastic. 50mm long.
