Great American Eclipse 2017

I used the Sunspotter during the August 21, 2017 Total Eclipse. It was so easy to set up and use. People came from all over our viewing site to monitor and take pictures of the eclipse on the Sunspotter. Wonderful item.

Super Easy, Super Safe Group Solar Viewing

Pros - Super easy to use - Allows sunspot watching from under a shade umbrella. - Super safe comfortable solar viewing. - Nice large image to share with multiple observers simultaneously. - Prefer this over filtered binoculars. - Large sunspots, and solar eclipse very visible, small sunspots a bit harder to see. -Less expensive here then on Amazon Cons - A tiny bit fuzzier image than a much smaller eyepiece view through a telescope. Because of this I almost gave 4 stars but comfort and ease of use put me back at 5 stars. - Physical laws dictate that as you magnify object, image gets fuzzy (and so does here)

We have found the Sunspotter to be absolutely great. All the products are really good, so much so that we are ordering some more. The Sunspotter is very easy to carry around and set up, and the image of the sun is very clear. It is a good educational tool.

Sun spotter spot one!

As a retired educator I am always interested in products that are effective teaching g tools. Currently I volunteer at various schools to bring students experiences they might not otherwise have. The Sunspotter telescope will be a great companion to the H-alpha scope I already have, and I will be able to give students a hands-on experience because they will be able to operate the scope independently. I am impressed with the simplicity of the device and the ruggedness of its construction. It is extremely easy to use, lightweight, and portable. It can be set up in seconds for quick views of sun spots. Great product.

Sunspotter teleskop

The delivery time was extraordinary quick for an international delivery. Unfortunately the sunspotter seemd to be not correctly adjusted, as the sun straw could not be send through the lense. I had to adapt two of the three ones. This is a bit pity. But besides that everything from order to delivery and contacts have been satisfying.

Sunspotter Solar Telescope

This is the greatest tool ever. Students have the opportunity to see sunspots not just through discussion, but through observation. My students can observe, construct a table, and collect data. Wonderful tool!!!!

just in time...

Received the sunspotter just in time for the 5/20 annular eclipse -- and looking forward to the 6/5 Transit of Venus. The students respond very positively to having a real astronomy demo and the sunspotter is very easy to use!

Great product!

This telescope is really easy to use, and provides a really easy way for people to see the Sun. It's especially great for younger kids who find it hard to look through an eyepiece. The construction is sturdy and it is easy to transport. Recommended.

Nothing can be more simple and safer than this sunspotter telescope. I wish you built a bigger one so we can see bigger image. If you do I will buy.
