What better way for your students to visually understand F=ma.

Description

What is a Newton? It is the force equal to the weight of an average apple (mass of 102 g). What better way for your students to visually understand Sir Isaac Newton's idea of F=ma than to drop a one Newton foam apple onto someone's head? They will remember it forever! Set of six includes lesson ideas.

This may be overkill but students have a difficult time understanding weight and force. This give the students a visual to link the concept of 1 N of force. I am constantly picking this up when the difficulty surfaces in student discussions.
