Apollo 11 CSM with LM Model

Description

This amazingly detailed DIY model starts as four square metal sheets that you turn into an amazing 3D replica of the Apollo Command Service Module (CSM) and Lunar Module (LM). Together, these two spacecraft were responsible for bringing the Apollo 11 astronauts to the Moon and safely back to Earth in July 1969. The kit includes a real gold replica of the commemorative plaque the Apollo 11 crew left on the Moon. Use the easy-to-follow instructions to pop out the 63 pieces, bend the tabs, and connect them at the attachment points. Difficulty level: Challenging. Assembled dimensions: 5.07" x 2.28" x 3.45"

Recommended tools: Wire cutters for taking parts from the metal sheets, tweezers and/or needle-nosed pliers for bending and twisting tabs.
