Freeze-dried ice cream is yummy and requires no refrigeration!

Description

In space no one can hear ice cream! These specially preserved ice creams are freeze-dried and require no refrigeration. Just open and eat! Each individually wrapped ice cream comes in a package that describes the freeze-drying process. A yummy way to discuss air pressure, phase changes, and vaporization.

This is an example of the actual type of food carried into space on NASA missions. In fact, this style of Astronaut ice cream actually went into space on several space shuttle missions! Your students will love tasting it! Make Astronaut foods a part of your next space science lesson.

Three flavors in each package. Long shelf life (2 years!). Fracturing into pieces is normal and makes it easier to share. Give small samples, and five packages are enough for an entire class to try! Approx. 4.5" x 1.5" x 0.875".

Ingredients: Ice Cream Ingredients: Milk, Cream, Sugar, Corn Syrup, Nonfat Milk, Whey, Cocoa Processed with Alkali, Mono and Diglycerides, Guar Gum, Artificial Flavors, Locust Bean Gum, Polysorbate 80, Carrageenan, Red 40, Annatto(color). Wafer Ingredients: Wheat Flour, Sugar, Caramel Color, Dextrose, Palm Oil, Corn Flour, Cocoa, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Corn Syrup, Modified Corn Starch, Cocoa, Salt, Baking Soda, Soy Lecithin, Mono and Diglycerides.

Allergens: Produced in a facility that also produces peanuts, milk, soy, wheat gluten, egg, & tree nut ingredients.

IT IS OUT OF THIS WORLD, figuratively and literally. No joke at all. If you have a budget, this should not be on the cutting list.

It's good educationally, but as ice cream it has a weird consistency, like a dried out ice cream

The Astronaut Ice Cream is fantastic; well-manufactured & nicely priced - I had some way back when I was much younger -It has a very good taste compared to the regular form - They will make a fantastic Christmas present Stocking Stuffer - My next door neighbor's children will love them - They really enjoy different toys & educational items - Thank you -

If your students/kids have not tried astronaut ice cream, they need to. Somehow this dried out stuff turns creamy in your mouth, and it's amazing@
