I bought these for all my classes not just science as end of year gifts. The 4-6 graders were eager to try them. The 6-7 graders, not so much. In the lunch room students kept coming up to me asking if I had more. They are a blast

I bought the crickets for my Vacation Bible School class last year. They were such a hit that I added the other bugs this year They are fifth and sixth grade, but the older kids, seventh to tenth grades came to my room to beg for them too

Big Hit!
Review star icon Review star icon Review star icon Review star icon Review star icon Apr 16, 2014
These were a huge hit at our school's curriculum night! There were about 7-8 crick-ettes per box. I couldn't bring myself to eat one, but everyone that did said that they were quite tasty (similar to sunflower seeds, pork rinds, and/or potato chips). I wish more would have come in the box....

Used at the end of a research project on entomophagy for a "bug feast" - the most common reaction is, "These taste just like chips!" thanks for a product that helps combat cultural diet bias ;)

I purchased them for a Vacation Bible School class, but I am going to take some to a kids birthday party to test them out. I am pretty sure they will at least cause a stir, I don't think I will get everyone to try them.

These were awesome...they were tasty and well packaged to keep their bodies intact. The only thing is you do not get many for the $$

Once we were sent the actual product, we were happy with what we recieved. It would have been helpful to know exactly how many crickettes were in each box for our planning purposes. But people said they tasted like potato chips!

I work for a pest control product retailer and I bough these (and all of the other edible critters EI sells) for an office party. All of the men in the office tried all of the insects but these were a huge hit. I bought 8 boxes and every last cricket was gone by the end of the party. They were tasty and unique!

This was a lot of fun, though none of the children were brave enough to eat one.
