W-Tube Puzzle

Description

Challenge your students to replicate the picture shown using only water, sugar, food coloring, three small cups, a Beral pipette, and two caps. Easier said than done! Included is a teacher instruction booklet containing several challenges, from the simple to the complex. This is a great hands-on way to teach solution density, air pressure, and planning an experiment. Super for a science table or group work! Created in 1985 by Ron Perkins and field tested with students from elementary through high school!
