Chocolate Covered Bugs

I am teaching arthropods now. I gave my 5th/6th grade students the opportunity to eat a bug. Two thirds of them did. A colleague got 2, one for herself and one for her husband. They were a big hit! We made memories today!

great incentive!

Parents, teachers and students fought for their chance to eat an insect in my classroom mainly to receive a sticker as proof. The kids loved showing off their stickers to the other students and were anxious to get home for their parents to see.
