I have ordered the sharks teeth several times and share them with students (after the I.D.) and have always been very satisfied with the quality and amount. The students always enjoy the sharks teeth and I let them keep what they find and identify.

These are great to have handy when you have visitors with children. I pack some for travel, too. They are great to pull out for discussion with a group of kids when discussing fossils, teeth, deciduous cycles in nature, or SHARKS!

Nice Material for Kids and Artists

There are more than enough decent shark teeth in here for the price that artists can include in their Jewelry work. If you are not sure how to clean them up, look it up. You need some acid, and then a rinse dry and acrylic clear varnish. They can be dyed too. Enjoy. For kids, there will be a lot of fun searching through some of the gravel that accompanies them, but overall really nice material. Packed well too. Tomi Jewelry in Tokyo

Shark teeth

I recently purchased 2lbs of shark teeth .. All though there was some nice pieces of teeth , their was a lot of really small teeth as well.. My only complant is the amount of ground up material that was left.. Close to 3/4 of a pound of the 2 pounds was usable..

I am torn with this review. For a pound of teeth, I expected a few larger teeth. There were 4 large sized teeth but they were all broken. There were lots of small teeth mostly in tact.

We used these for my son's birthday party. We buried them in the sand and my son and his friends id a dig in which they located teeth. It worked out great and they got to keep the teeth they found. The teeth that we received were better than I had expected!!!

I am a very satisfied customer with the exception of this product. Only a handful of the teeth were complete the rest were bits and pieces. It was also a great disappointment to my students that there were not enough complete or non fractured teeth to go around for each student.

Since these are found along the beaches in Morocco there are always some that are broken, and they are priced with this in mind. However, your bag certainly should have had plenty of whole teeth for your students to study! We will be more than happy to replace the product, or give you a full refund.

I teach Marine Bio and I aslo do "Sea Creatures" camps in the summer for elementary and middle school. I love bringing out the shark's teeth in piles for students to sort through and classify. It brings up diversity, size, diets, investigations of what other features that these different sharks exhibit; are just a few things that come out of these shark teeth. The key that comes with this for classifying the teeth is useful. Students love this.

I buy a bag of these every year to add to our fossil bed (A bed of pebbles with a lot of marine fossils in them.) My students look forward all year to finding their "own" fossils. They get to keep all the shark teeth they find and I make sure everyone gets at least one. Makes for a great class activity.

Sharks Teeth Geology to Pirate Fashion

What kid is not fascinated by sharks teeth? Here is a bag full of them! I have used them as fossil in the geology collections my students assemble and identify to take home. I have used them in For a Pirate theme in summer science camps.... What pirate does not need to learn about sharks. If you know about sharks you earn the right to make a necklace out of the tooth to wear. AArggg What could be more fashionable for a pirate? Sorting, classifying and identifying sharks teeth are always favorite learning centers.
