This micro-encapsulated film enables students to view a static magnetic field.

Description

This micro-encapsulated film enables students to view a static magnetic field, such as found around permanent magnets or DC electromagnets. Simply place the film directly on the surface of the magnetic material in question and instantly reveal a magnetic field of any shape or pattern. You can easily identify the poles. The film is highly flexible and quite durable. It can be laminated. Available as 12" x 12", 6" x 6", or a 1" x 36" strip perfect for use with our Eddy Current Tubes. The film is shown above with a ring of our small Neodymium Spheres (not included).

Great product. I have used it before when maping/viewing sputter cathode magnets. Is there any chance you can get larger sizes? This is a great material for any magnet demonstration. It works great with the Eddy Current Tube to show you where the magnet is at all times. It's also a fun way to discover magnets in things -- the magnetic clasp on your laptop, the speaker on your cell phone, or the door seal on your refrigerator.
