Hold an end ball in each hand, drop one ball, and begin a rhythmic bouncing of the hand. Only very small motions are needed, and the balls will trace lively vertical orbits, horizontal orbits, figure-eight orbits, big orbits, small orbits, or wild and crazy patterns. Despite its apparent simplicity - three foam balls on a string - the contouring and internal weighting of the balls required two and a half years of optimization by the inventor, a theoretical physicist, to insure that the string never tangles about the center ball. Great for teaching the physics of resonance, orbital motion, and rotational energy. Colors may vary.
