This incredible Stirling (heat) engine can actually run on the heat from your warm hand. We didn't believe it until will actually tried it ourselves. Place this beautiful, precision engine on any warm surface, and within a few minutes its chugging along. The engine runs anytime the temperature of the top and bottom plates differ by more than about 5^o Celsius. Its upper black aluminum plate will actually absorb enough heat in direct sunshine to run on solar power. We've tried hot coffee, computer monitors, ice cubes and even chicken soup! Makes a great thermodynamics demonstrations. Works by constantly heating (expanding) and cooling (contracting) the air inside the engine. Available while supplies last.
