Larger View
Place a flat sheet of plastic in a dishpan of hot water and watch it expand. Does the hole in the center get larger or smaller? Place in ice water and watch it contract. Contains a flat 20 x 28 cm (8" x 11”) flat piece with a hole cut out of the center and a round piece to fill the hole. Sometimes the round piece fits in the hole and sometimes not. All students are amazed to observe the size change and advanced students can calculate its coefficient of expansion. Fantastic for introducing the engineering problems of expansion and contraction!
Density Paradox (set of two)
This is an awesome discrepant event for your most advanced 'density' students! Great for demonstrating how temperature can affect an object's density!
Fortune Fish (package of 144)
A very thin piece of red cellophane in the shape of a 3.5-inch long fish, this amazing innovation twists and curls when placed in the palm of your hand.
Large Gro-Beast Alligator
These growing alligators start at about 3 inches long and grow to over a foot long when placed in water!
Magic Sand
Sand that repels water and never gets wet!
