Teacher Workshop Ideas From Educational Innovations;
Complete with Free Shipping and a Door Prize*

Greetings!

Educating educators is the fastest and most efficient way to spread science excitement, enthusiasm and knowledge to students.  Planning a workshop or seminar can be challenging enough without having to worry about finding awesome products that will quickly excite and energize teachers.  We've put our teaching experience and wisdom to work for you!  Take a look at some of our most popular teaching aids and hands-on demonstrations, sure to super-charge your attendees.

To help make your workshop a true success we would be delighted to send out enough catalogs and free U.V. Zipper Pulls for your participants.  Please feel free to contact us with information on your event, and we will help make your workshop a real learning experience for all your attendees!
Product Ideas!

Poly Density Bottle- A Great Discrepant Event!
density bottle When the 1L bottle is shaken, blue and white beads mix as expected. However, when allowed to settle, the beads separate, white at the top and blue at the bottom. Then, the two separated colored beads slowly come together in the center of the liquid. How often do you see something floating in the middle of the liquid? Great for illustrating so many concepts: solubility, density, miscibility, the salting out effect... Spontaneous order from disorder! Isn't this a violation of The Second Law??  Younger students can observe the flow of less dense particles to the top and more dense particles to the bottom;  more advanced students can use Gibbs Free Energy Law to determine if the change is exothermic or endothermic!

Item # DEN-460
Price: $19.95

Wooden Car Kit- Great Lesson on Variables!
Twoodencarkithis wooden car is powered by an elastic band. When the potential energy of the stretched elastic is converted into kinetic energy of motion, the car will travel about 3 meters (10 feet). Students can experiment by varying the method of winding the elastic, the number of turns and the type of surface used. It is easy to assemble

Dropper Popper - Energy Gone Wild!
dropperpoppers Dropper Poppers are more than just half of a rubber ball. This incredible device seemingly defies the laws of physics by bouncing higher than where you dropped it from! Unlike some similar products, this one requires a small amount of "activation energy" to work. It is molded into a very special shape that allows it to store elastic potential energy and then convert it to kinetic energy with a POP when dropped from a low height (i.e. a small amount of activation energy is applied.) Drop it from a height of about 4 feet and it will jump to 8 feet or more. Dropper Poppers make a great "activation energy" demonstration. An engaging activity for any Physics or Chemistry Class!

Goldenrod Paper - Color Changes Made Easy!
goldenrod True goldenrod paper is made from a dye which is an acid-base indicator. This paper turns bright red in bases such as ammonia, baking soda or washing soda and returns to bright yellow in acids such as vinegar or lemon juice. Make your own indicator paper or use to preserve fingerprints. Instructions included. Color-changing goldenrod paper has become very difficult to find. Ours is guaranteed to be color-changing.
