WE'RE PREPARING FOR A SUPER SPOOKY HALLOWEEN AND SO SHOULD YOU!
- To set up that freaky feel in the room, share some WORMS with the class. Not your ordinary slimy- creepers, color them to be snot green, dead man gray, or pumpkin orange.
- Launch into a great lesson on polymers using our growing spheres, a.k.a. "eyeballs". Send each student home with concentrated eyeballs to be grown at home, or prepare a day ahead and have grown eyeballs on display in a large lab jar in the front of the room!
- Brew up some grey matter jello and make a jiggling brain snack, or use blood red jello with our heart mold to create a dramatic, yet filling treat for your classroom! Our brain and heart molds are a best seller this time of year and, of course, will get a real scream out of the kids!
- No Halloween experience is complete without blood and bugs!!! Using Goldenrod paper make blood appear to be leaking from your hands, and nothing "screams" Halloween like the girl in the front row who just found an acrylic paperweight containing a huge stag beetle or scorpion!

| Growing Spheres |
|
|
This this an excellent hands-on, eyes-on activity! These spheres (or "eyeballs" as we like to call them) are prefect to send shivers down your students' spines! You can dye them by simply adding food coloring to the water, either start them growing the day before or observe some obvious changes within the class period! Each bag contains 50g, about 3,000 spheres!
