Each large element card contains a
beautiful, high quality photograph on one side, with its name, symbol,
atomic wt and atomic number. The reverse side cleverly shows a density
bar on the left, phase change bars on the right, and electronic
structure lines on the bottom, so students can stack a handful of elements, slide the deck slightly, and see how density, melting point,
boiling points, etc. trend by the automatically

Growing Spheres (Three Sizes)

these hard crystals in water and they expand about 300 times, producing
gel-like spheres. Students love to feel the slippery, spherical gel! Ask students to determine the change in volume, using V = 4/3
