Turn the picture over and watch it create a new pattern every time. Made in Lustenau, Austria, each piece is handcrafted using a complex blend of carefully selected particles that differ in color, density, shape, and size. Then the air, sand, water, and gravity interact to create order out of randomness. Fantastic for a classroom, office, or even a home! So many observations to be made! The large Sand Art takes as little as 20 minutes or as much as 8 hours to complete, depending upon the adjustment of water and air. All appear to violate the Second Law of Thermodynamic!

Three are wall mountable with a unique swivel. The Dune and Deep Sea Round are self-supporting, perfect for a desk or table. The Sunset (sm.) can be either.

Colored Sand Motion

Comprised of two hourglasses with different colored sands, the sand in one hourglass will float while the sand in the other sinks!

Flip the demo over, and the colors will start to switch places, without mixing! Magic, or density?

When inverted, three different colorful droplets appear to be changing shape as they fall from the top reservoir of liquid to the bottom.
