The same time is kept on both the Hall Pass and the Teacher Monitor Unit, so students cannot reset the Hall Pass once it is removed from the Monitor. Time's Up warning lights and an alarm aid the students in keeping their time away from the classroom to a minimum. The Teacher Monitor Unit has a memory function for the past three uses.
