As you open this book a horse runs, a rooster struts, or an eagle soars. It is like a Harry Potter movie, where all of a sudden the pages come to life! The book uses "scanimation" which is a six-phase process that combines the "persistence of vision" with a lined acetate overlay to the give the illusion of movement. A totally new technology which has to be seen to be appreciated! At the 2008 National NSTA Convention, we sold out in the first few hours. Hardcover, 24 pages, 9 moving images, copyright 2007.
CineSpinners - While Supplies Last
When suspended from a string and spun slowly, these optical illusion spinners give the illusion of motion.
Magic Color Wheel
When placed in the wind or in front of a fan, the bright spectrum of colors that make up this fantastic wheel blend into white.
Mysterious Glowing Ball
When spun in a circle by the cord, one can see the white light separate into blinking red, blue, and green lights.
Swing! Book by Rufus Butler
As you open this book, the swimmer swims, the gymnast cartwheels, the skater twirls.
