Shipping Information
This neat, high-quality, glass mirror is double sided and curved and so has both a concave side and a convex side on a single mirror.
Larger View
Two mirrors in one! This compact and easily stored mirror is convex on one side and concave on the other. The concave side is front-surface – perfect for a physics unit on light and reflection. Curved mirrors are all around us - in stores, telescopes and even in rear view mirrors. Ask your students to explain exactly why "Objects in mirror are closer than they appear," then, use our mirror to explore, experimentally, light ray diagrams and the science behind magnification. This mirror features reflective coatings on the outside for exceptionally true reflections as well as beveled glass edges, for safety, which are NOT sharp to the touch. Approx. 75 mm in diameter.
Biconvex & Biconcave Lens Sets
50 mm diameter lenses in pairs or class sets.
Photon U - by Bryce Hixson
Explore reflection, refraction, color, anatomy of the eye, diffraction gratings, polarizing filters, and optical illusions
Plastic Mirrors
Available in different sizes, these high quality plastic mirrors are durable and just right for mirror writing, periscopes, and many other experiments.
The Mirage®
Uses mirrored surfaces to create a 3-dimensional real image.
