Uses a single, 3-element light emitting diode (LED), which contains, on the same silicon chip, red, green, and blue diodes. The sequencing of colors is automatic and may be turned either on or off. While sequencing, the X-Light lights each of its LED's colored elements individually, in pairs and finally, as a full set of three primary colors resulting in visible white light. The X-Light makes an interesting introduction to the primary colors of visible light. This device has an automatic shut-off to preserve battery life. Batteries are included.
