When will my order arrive?
SHIPPING TO U.S. ADDRESSES:
Educational Innovations ships most prepaid orders placed before 4 PM
Eastern Time the same day we receive them. We use UPS Ground service
for the majority of our domestic shipments. Approximate transit times
for this service are shown on this map. All shipping estimates are
stated in "business days." Business days do not include Saturdays,
Sundays or holidays. Please note that these times may vary by several days and should not be relied upon for shipments that MUST arrive
by a certain date. UPS Ground delivery times are not guaranteed. For
time critical shipments we recommend using UPS Next Day Air (Red), UPS
2nd Day Air (Blue), or UPS 3 Day Select. If you prefer another shipping
method, such as FedEx or DHL, please contact us for details. UPS Ground
service is not available to Alaska or Hawaii. For these states we use
Priority Mail for standard shipping. UPS 2nd Day Air (Blue) and UPS
Next Day Air (Red), if available, will be listed when you checkout.
SHIPPING TO ADDRESSES OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES:
Educational
Innovations ships most international orders placed before 4 PM Eastern
Time within 24 hours of receiving them. We ship most international
orders by US Postal Service. Normal transit time these shipments is approximately
10-15 business days. Express shipping services are available.
International delivery times are not guaranteed. When you place your
order, you will be presented with several options, each with an
estimated transit time and exact shipping charge. Please note that all
shipping estimates are stated in "business days." Business days do not
include Saturdays, Sundays or holidays. We can offer only approximate
shipping times as there may be unavoidable delays such as weather or
customs clearance.
While Educational Innovations, Inc.
does everything possible to ensure your package moves smoothly through
customs, international orders may be subject to taxes, duties or other
charges levied by the country where the package is being received. Any
such charges are outside of our control or ability to predict. Any
taxes or duties, if imposed, are the responsibility of the customer and
may be due at the time of delivery. Please contact your local Customs Office for more information. Shipping charges are not refundable for non-delivery due to factors outside of our control. This includes your country's import restrictions or other regulations; unwillingness on the part of the customer to pay duties or fees; and errors in address provided by the customer.
Some items are not available for International Shipping, and will be removed from any International orders.

Do you accept purchase orders?
Educational Innovations is happy to accept official purchase orders from schools and many other educational institutions.

Can I submit a purchase order on the website?
Not exactly. While you cannot directly submit a purchase order online, you may use our website to prepare your purchase order. Simply select the items and quantities and add them to your shopping cart as you would normally. When you are finished, proceed to checkout and enter the billing and shipping information. At the bottom of that page, select "Purchase Order" as the payment method. Next, select the desired shipping method, and the website will calculate your shipping cost. Click "Ready to Print", then print the page that is displayed. But, don’t stop there, you’re not done yet! You will need to fax or mail that page to us, along with your organization's official and signed purchase order. The order is not submitted to us electronically, so we will need to see your printout. Including the printout with your official purchase order will ensure that you are charged the quoted amount. Instructions on how to submit the P.O. will appear on your printout.

Does Educational Innovations, Inc. accept orders from outside the United States?
Educational Innovations, Inc. is happy to accept orders from educators around the globe. At last count, we have supplied materials to students, teachers, scientists and tinkerers in 66 different countries. Our international customers can even get instant shipping quotes when ordering on-line. You can see exactly how much shipping will cost and even choose from several different carriers.
International electricity note: All items that require AC Power (plug into the wall) run on standard North American line current of 110 volts 60 Hz and come equipped with a US plug. Adapters/converters are often available at your local Radio/Electronics store. Sorry, but we do not have international power adapters available.

How much are shipping charges?
Within the continental United States:
For prepaid orders (check, credit card, or money order) standard shipping is 8.5% of the total cost of the order with a minimum of $7.95.
For schools and businesses on account NET 30, shipping is based on a number of factors, including weight, volume and distance. You should estimate 10% of the total cost of the order with a minimum of $7.95. Prepare your Purchase Order on our website and you will be presented with quotes for several shipping options.
Alaska, Hawaii & US Territories:
For prepaid orders (check, credit card, or money order) to Alaska, Hawaii & US Territories standard shipping is 12% of the total cost of the order with a minimum of $12.00.

Am I required to pay sales tax?
Sales tax is getting more common and more complicated for internet sales. Educational Innovations is required to collect sales tax in many states, and the list is growing. Some states require us to collect sales tax even if Educational Innovations, Inc. does not have a permanent location within the state. Further, the sales tax in some parts of the country varies depending on, not just the state, but also the county or municipality.
If sales tax is required on your order, it will be calculated during the checkout process. For those areas that may also require county or municipal sales tax, your order totals will be checked manually and may be adjusted to ensure that you are not over-charged. If you qualify for tax exempt status, you can enter that information during the check out process. Please also fax or e-mail a copy of your tax exempt certificate and note you order number on the certificate.

I'm having trouble placing my order. What can I do?
While we work very hard to ensure that you have a smooth experience on our website, with the current variety of computers, operating systems, browsers, internet security software, and firewalls, we still encounter the occasional order problem for a small percentage of customers. If you cannot get your order to go through, please feel free to contact us by phone, fax or e-mail. We will be happy to process your order manually. How do I use the "Save For Later" function in the Shopping Cart?
To use the "Save For Later" function you need to be logged into your account. If the icon has a red circle and slash then you are not logged in. To log in, click on "My Account" at the top of the home page and you will be prompted to sign in with your user name and password, or create a new account if you don't already have one. Once logged in, click "View Cart" to return to the Shopping Cart.
The "Save For Later" function allows you to keep items in the shopping cart, but not include them in your current order. Once you have clicked "Save For Later" the items are moved to the Saved Items area. Simply scroll to the bottom of the Shopping Cart page to find them. You can then click "Buy Now" to move these items back to your regular Shopping Cart.
Note: The "Save For Later" function is not same as the "Wish List" function. If you want a "Gift Registry" function that allows you to share your list of items with others, use the "Wish List" function described below.

How do I add items to a Wish List?
To use the Wish List function you need to be logged into your account. If not, you will be prompted to sign in with your user name and password, or create a new account if you don't already have one.
As you are browsing products on our website, there is an "Add to Wish List" link to the right of every "Add to Cart" button. Enter the quantity that you would like and click this link. But, don’t stop there, you’re not done yet! On the next screen, select which Wish List(s) to add the items to and click "Add to Wish List(s)."

I've added items to my Wish List. Now what do I do with them?
Once you have added items to your Wish List you can change quantities, move them to your cart, or remove them from your Wish List. You can also share your Wish List with friends to give them great gift ideas. You can even have more than one Wish List. All of these functions are done through "Manage Wish Lists."
To access "Manage Wish Lists" click "My Account" at the top of any page (next to the "View Cart" button). Sign in with your user name and password, then select "Manage Wish Lists."

Can I download a blank order form?
Yes, by popular demand we have made a blank order form available on-line that teachers can print and fill in. To go to the order form click here! This file is in convenient PDF format. If you have trouble opening it, you can download the free Adobe Acrobat Reader by clicking here.
Also, you can use our website to generate a completed order form with all the information filled in. Start by simply shopping on our website normally. Then at checkout select "Purchase Order" or "Check" as the payment method. Rather than sending your order electronically, you will be presented with a completed order form ready to print and send in.

Do you have a store in my area? Can I visit your store?
I'm sorry, but we do not have a walk-in store. All of our sales are conducted through mail orders, phone orders and internet sales. Orders are processed and shipped from our headquarters in Connecticut. If you did decide to stop by our office what you would see is a working warehouse (not terribly exciting). If you wanted to see our items and try some out, the best place to see us is at one of the many educational conventions where we exhibit. Select "Show Schedule" on our home page to find out where we will be.

You can submit it for our "blog," and possibly earn a $50 gift certificate! Write your blog post and then send it to us at blog@teachersource.com. You can compose it and send it within the body of your email, or you can send it as a Word document. Any pictures you include should be in .jpeg format. Be sure to include your entire name and your mailing address. Also, please send a head shot of yourself, so we can properly give you credit. If you haven't seen our blog, check it out here. All blog submissions must represent the original work of the sender, and upon publication, become the property of Educational Innovations. They may be used for all purposes, with or without attribution.

I can't find a particular item on your website. What is the best way to find it?
On most of the pages in our catalog you will see a search box in the upper left hand corner. In that box you can type a keyword, product name, item number (don't forget the "dash" in our item numbers), description, etc. and then click the "search" button. You will get a list of all the Super! Neat! Wow! products that match your search. Just click one of the products on the list and you will be brought right to that page in our catalog.
