This is simply the most exciting kit we've seen in a while. A fuel cell is an environmentally friendly energy production device with great promise for the future. The fuel cell included with this kit is reversible and so can both electrolyze water into hydrogen and oxygen AND generate electrical energy. With this kit you assemble your own fuel cell test vehicle. Using a solar panel and fuel cell (both included) water is broken down into hydrogen and oxygen, then the fuel cell alone generates electricity to run the car. Simple, reliable and super educational with 30 different experiments described in detail in the included 96 page color lab manual. The kit also includes a digital multimeter for measuring electric currents and voltages produced by the fuel cell. A fantastic example of renewable energy. Recommended for students 12 years of age and up and anyone interested in 21st century energy sources. The Fuel Cell Car is ~ 7" long x 4" wide x 3.5" high.
