Created by the same group as our super-popular Fuel Cell Car kit, The Power House kit provides a hands-on approach to learning basic concepts in science, energy management and the environment. The kit focuses on heat and light energy from the sun, energy from the wind, as well as, electrochemical and plant energy. The story line places you on a remote island and gives you the task of surviving by building a home. You are asked to build and operate a windmill, solar cooker, solar hot water tank, and an electric train. You plant watercress, prepare sauerkraut, and make chewing gum. A guided series of experiments follows the storyline in a clear, stepwise fashion. This fantastic kit includes an illustrated 96 page Experiment Manual with 70 experiments and 20 building projects.

Fuel Cell Car Kit

Assemble your own fuel cell test vehicle. Using a solar panel and fuel cell (both included) water is broken down into hydrogen and oxygen, then the fuel cell alone generates electricity to run the car.
