Give your students a dynamic demonstration of electrostatic force with the ES-611 Electrostatic Motor. The ES-611 consists of an 8-inch diameter wheel, with conductive spheres, mounted on a precision ball bearing. The wheel rotates between two stationary spheres that are connected to an electrostatic generator. The wheel rotates due to the alternating attraction and repulsion between the charges on the stationary and rotating spheres. The ES-611 is sensitive enough to be powered by the included charging rod or our Kelvin Water Drop Generator (Item ES-214). Please allow additional shipping time.
