The articles in ChemMatters are written to demystify everyday chemistry. Use them for supplemental student reading assignments (grades 6 thru 12), teacher background material, or for constructing your substitute teacher lesson plans. The ChemMatters CD, version 3.0 contains twenty years (1983 to 2003) of articles in Adobe PDF Format. From the Start screen, you can view each issue by selecting the Years Menu. Starting in February 1990, ChemMatters began publication of Teacher’s Guides, which provide background information on the articles, activities, classroom demonstrations and questions for the students to answer.
